Melissa | 2 comments Hello, I am writing a 20-page research paper for my literary criticism class and I have chosen the topic of novels that address the issue of rape. I wanted to do a comparison of a novel that doesn't successfully deal with the topic of rape (I think I am choosing Malamud's The Assistant) and one that does successfully deal with the complex topic of rape and all of its issue. I was wondering if anyone had any advice as far as a successful novel that I could choose? Or anything else concerning this topic that might be helpful. Thanks!

Also I'm not sure if this in the right thread, sorry!

Alexa (AlexaNC) | 30 comments Sorry, I can't think of anything particular to recommend to you; I thought some of these resources might be helpful though:

That last one is a great place to ask people for book recommendations, it has thousands of really helpful members.
Good luck!
