Yoda and Chloe are necessary for Sonya to feel safe in the manor. In order for her to thrive there she needs Yoda to ground her. I think he will continue to be a part of the series. He is aware of the ghosts of the manor and I think he will keep Sonya safe.

I agree with Anita. Dogs and cats do have a sense of another presence. Yoda will give Chloe and Sonya advance warning if danger is present.
