How do you think Sam’s IAB hearing went for her? Was Stahl’s recommendation to reduce her rank to detective appropriate or overly harsh for the circumstances? Did she benefit from her relationships with Farnsworth and Malone or was the outcome fair?

Yes, Sam does benefit from her relationship with Farnworth and Malone. Any other cop would have been demoted at best and fired at worst for lying to their superiors.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Stahl does have it in for Sam and I don't think this is the end of it. He is jealous and vindictive and that makes him dangerous. Sam will need to watch her back, her front and both sides. This guy is coming for her, and he isn't going to stop.

Having Malone and Farnsworth on her side is definitely the reason Sam still has a job.
