Read 331 books.
Collected 189 participation points. *see private message for donation

You may even have fewer books on the TBR at the end of the year than you had at the start. (I’m not quite as confident about my own net result for the year 🤣)

That is a reward in itself!

331!!!! Wow. You probably read more outside the game too ! I couldn’t come close to that even with good eyes, but I read more than last year.
I finished 10 loops in the game, read 147 books in the game (200 overall), and earned 289 participation points. I read many of the oldest books in my tbr and Audible library, and did a few deep dives into tag topics, most notably indigenous and immigration.

I read 15. Started the 16th last night, but won't finish by tomorrow.

Anita said the last Roll Request is tomorrow, but you can take a little more time to finish the reading.

Thanks, Nancy! It's a physical book and I travel on Friday, so I am hoping to finish by Thursday (I have ebooks I am taking with). Not sure if that will happen, but it's my hope!

@Nancy - also an astonishing level of reading!
To both of you, thank you for also sharing the game rewards you earned with all that reading, It added a perfect touch to the final days of our Subdue Express journey.

From my original post:
The first person to the end of their game board wins a prize (or if no one reaches the end, the person who is furthest along on December 20th at noon EST will be declared the winner). Subsequent finishers receive varying levels of participation points depending on when/if they finish. There will also be a consolation prize for the person who reads the most books on their board. There will also be a special consolation prize for the person who progresses the least on their board, but has read at least 3 titles for the challenge.
Specifics:
I never really envisioned people going as far as they did in this game, but after it is over, there will be participation point awards for:
1. First person to finish the Clerk Board
2. First person to finish two rounds of the Conductor Board
3. Person to go the furthest overall (the most rounds)
4. Person who read the most books (please report your totals below if you think you are in contention for this prize).
5. Consolation prize for person in last place who read at least 3 titles.
There will also be various points awarded each level you completed in the game.
These will all be announced after the game is over, but it would be helpful if you think you are in contention for the most books read award if you could post the number of books completed below.
There may be a prize or two beyond participation points, but I'm trying to get those straightened out first!
Specific awards will be noted in this thread when the time comes.
