In 2024, I am hoping to decrease the number of books I have on my shelves (both physical books and e-books) as of 12/31/23. Best estimate is about 1600 books, mostly e-books, with a hope to read 2 owned for every 1 library book (the local library is a block and a half from my home). I also wish to read at least 100 books.

Thanks, Rosemarie. Having good friends who share books make it difficult to decrease the books on one's shelves. Add to that favorite authors who publish new books in their series, it becomes even more difficult. Alas....being a bookcrosser isn't easy.
In January, I read 8 books of the 100 books I challenged myself to read.Statistics:

Two books, that I read in July, have been sitting on my bookshelves for more than 10 years. Why did I wait so long?
