We have failed the Legacy of Seth, but we can end strong. Scott Oden’s volume 3 of his Grimnir saga dropped today. Let’s read and discuss together.

Three cheers to (a) Clint for calling everyone to read together, and (b) Scott Odin for the Grimnir trilogy. If you haven't read any yet, you should.

Sidebar: Legacy of Seth has a nice ring to it. Lol. Where has Seth been? I owe everyone an update, but have been publishing short stories and charing Gen Con Writers in 2023: https://www.selindberg.com/2023/09/ge...

Clint | 341 comments I’m only two chapters in (I stole some time at my work desk today), but I’m enjoying it so far.

Richard | 816 comments The Doom of Odin is a red-fisted action extravaganza. Very good stuff.

Pay attention while reading or it may be confusing at first.

S.wagenaar | 418 comments I’m eagerly awaiting my copy. I have pretty much read it all while beta reading with a few others for Scott, but I’m looking forward to reading it again over a shorter period of time and getting the full, immersive experience! Review to follow, but it’s already a five-star book in opinion.

Clint | 341 comments I have not encountered the reading time I would like, but I have read the first six chapters and I’m enjoying the book

Robin (klarkashton) | 111 comments I thought it was a gread conclusion to the saga. My full review is up at Grimdark Magazine.

message 9: by Clint (new)

Clint | 341 comments I’m about 60% through. I’m enjoying the “jumps” of the book (I don’t want to give spoilers). I hope to finish it this weekend.

end of chapter 5 was unexpectedly interesting.

message 11: by Clint (new)

Clint | 341 comments Excellent ending and bravo. The entire novel was a great read, but the last 5 chapters kicked me into turbo mode on read speed. I found myself (nearly) thankful that 2024 started with a flu for me. The unexpected downtime allowed me to sit and read more than one chapter at a time. My only complaint: this is the end.

An author could not ask for higher praise.
