This is the latest book in the Murderbot series. I really enjoy Murderbot and I like reading about how they are adjusting to life. I usually really like how Murderbot interacts with their friends, both humans and non-humans. I think one thing that lowered my rating a bit for this book is there were so many people/characters that aside from a couple old favorites, I could not keep them all straight. I felt like I really didn't get to know most of them any better through Murderbot's eyes in this one like than I have in earlier books in the series. It started out a bit slow for me and it took me a while to understand what was going on. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had reread the earlier books. If I had done that, I may have not felt lost about who was who. Despite these complaints, it is still the murderbot I love and I look forward to seeing where they go next. Maybe next time a new one comes out, I will reread the entire series first.
