Jackie | 1103 comments I added 2 more books to message 5. One was a Christmas gift and the other was an Amazon Prime Free book. Amazon is doing 2 free books in January. The other one I chose was a Dean Koonz book.

I never did get my picks posted, but the first book I'm reading this year fits: Meant to Be by Emily Giffin .

I also listed The Art of Saying Goodbye by Ellyn Bache and Mr Wilder & Me by Jonathan Coe in my spreadsheet for this month.

Jackie | 1103 comments The Ocean House is a real hotel. Rates begin at $455 to $7,100 per night. I'm sure that I won't be staying there, but the photos look lovely.

Finished Foul Play on Seal Bay. It was OK and worked for me as a between harder book read, but didn't love it enough to continue the series- this one was free as a Prime read.

Finished The Love Story of Missy Carmichael and really enjoyed it. An easy read with enjoyable characters, family drama, friendship.

Off to a slow start due to a bad case of covid.

So I really am done now and moving on to the February books. I don't believe I've ever completed 4 books for a color challenge! I guess taking a year off was a good thing. LOL
