Boxall's 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die discussion

Task 4: Read a Boxall list book from one of the Boxall authors who died in 2023. (Kenzaburo Oe, Dubravka Ugresic, Martin Amis, Cormac McCarthy, Milan Kundera, A. S. Byatt, Vassilis Vassilikos, and Russell Banks)

Sadly have read all of these people's books, so may have to re-read to complete this. Even though it sounds kind of morbid, if an author dies in 2024 and I haven't read a book by them yet, could that count?

Also, found out that Russell Banks died this year as well.

I like Kundera's writing. Since I've already read his Unbearable Lightness of Being and his Laughter and Forgetting, I will read The Joke. It was already in my to-read list but way down the list.
