Everyone reads at their own pace during a Buddy Read. Because participants can be at different parts of the book at different times, it is extremely important to mark spoilers so that the book is not ruined for someone who is not as far along as others!!!

I’m about halfway through. It’s interesting, but I’m not loving it.

I haven't started yet. I'm estimating that I'll start around the 15th, as soon as I finish Jade City. I've had the flu this week, so I've been avoiding reads that make me concentrate too much!

Finished it tonight. It was just meh for me. Not sure why… maybe the writing style? It could have been shorter?

Finally started this one today, hoping to make it one of my last January books. 🤞

I've officially DNF'd this one at 100 pages because it was too strange for me. I remember some of my friends chattering excitedly about Pod, and me thinking, well that's kind of weird, but they assured me it was good, However I'd picked up The Bees as a kindle deal a long time ago, so I knew I'd give that a try first. . . .I would say that maybe I just don't like animal narrators but I loved the ones in Remarkably Bright Creatures and in Lessons in Chemistry. I don't know. . . . This one just wasn't for me.
