This thread is to discuss If It Bleeds, the second book in the Holly Gibney series by Stephen King.

Finished this today! The only story I really didn't like was Rat. No particular reason why, it just wasn't really my thing. Loved the title story! (view spoiler)[ I loved seeing Holly work through her trauma from The Outsider and also use it as an opportunity to stop more bad guys/more outsiders from hurting people. I've never really been one to get so attached to fictional characters, maybe it's because I relate to Holly in some ways, but I love her and I love to see her doing well! (hide spoiler)] I loved The Life of Chuck, I think that was probably my second favorite from the collection. It was so creepy and then took such a cool turn, I thought it was so well done.

I started a fw days ago. I'll already finished the first story (Mr. Harrigan's Phone) and reallys liked it. I'm gonna read another book and then start with the second story.

Starting today, probably with the Holly story.

I truly enjoyed this book. I LOVED the Holly story; she’s a wonderful character. I thought Mr Harrigan’s Phone was going to have the man be able to talk to the dead Mr Harrigan (like in Long Distance Call fron The Twilight Zone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Di...) but I’m glad it didn’t. The other two were good; Rat was my preference between the two.
