Figured I gave Ann some new/odd ideas I had found or thought of she picked one that sounded good and she started thread earlier so we can start Talking it up on the regular JF/NR thread and try and get more people to join in over here on the challenge.

Donnajo | 4354 comments I gave it a 3 rating had a hard time or didn’t like the writing. I was thinking of checking to see if I can find movie on you tube to watch I don’t think I ever saw it. It’s for the library book club for February this was the first time they did a classic since I joined.

Ann (annrumsey) | 16928 comments Good for you DJ! How long do you think this "oldest" book had been on your shelf to read?
Donnajo wrote: "updated #22"

message 30: by Donnajo (new)

Donnajo | 4354 comments I think when the book came out in the early 1980s I think not sure of any other book on shelf that I’ve had. I’m was looking at some dates on different ones that I’ve thought might be older but turned out they weren’t.

message 31: by Donnajo (new)

Donnajo | 4354 comments Updated #3 & #4. I'm getting there on top if I could only get only one left on bottom taken care of I think I'll be in better shape. I did ask a library friend to recommend a book but it she told me a barbara taylor bradford book and not really in mood to do one of her's. maybe I'll still give it another try at some point.

Donnajo | 4354 comments Updated #13 finished on wednesday. Thank you Gail. It was good. Not sure if I'll end up reading the next ones or not after they come out depends if I can get copies from library. I don't have KU.
Only the top few left to take care of and those are any print ones off my shelves and I'm working on two of those at the moment.

Donnajo | 4354 comments FINISHED CHALLENGE-updated 8/1/24.

I tried to start a new thread for my challenge #2 and was giving me problems so will check back to see if it goes up in awhile or try doing it again. I did type the new one first with it keep telling me there was a problem with what I wrote but I had only done the subject Had to double check rest before typing it then when I had it ready and typed the whole thing said it took too long they would tell whoever of the problem. but I don't see what I typed. maybe it will take awhile to post. who knows.

Donnajo | 4354 comments Thanks.

Updated mistake on 9/1/24- I missed a book that was supposed to be #9 so I moved both the 9 & 10 down so the dates I finished them wouldn't be off. Will be adding Aria's to the new Determination #2 challenge.
