I finished Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth and believe this is the author's finest work to date. 5 Stars My Review
Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth

Darling Girls is an intense, heart wrenching, beautifully rendered domestic thriller with a shocking, unpredictable climax. I've enjoyed watching the evolution of this author's work.

I finished The Teacher by Freida McFadden and found it to be a masterpiece of illusions with unreliable characters and scandalous twists. 4.5 Stars My Review.
The Teacher by Freida McFadden
McFadden's books should come with a highly addictive warning label in neon colors on the front cover. She's becoming the Queen of last second, last page shockers that no one sees coming.

Judy (bigfootgal) | 166 comments I finished "Say Nothing" by Brad Parks. It tells the harrowing story of a federal judge whose six-year-old twins are kidnapped in order to control his ruling on an important case which is soon to come before him. It kept me up much too late because I couldn't wait to learn the outcome. I suspected everybody but never felt sure who was responsible until the author chose to reveal it. If you want to have your emotions strained to the breaking point and maybe shed a few tears, this is a good choice.
