Nice Mix, Amanda. I have a few of these on my TBR already.
The Gervase Fen series looks interesting: I may need to add the first book. I love a good mystery.
Good luck and happy reading 📚📚

Interesting selections, Amanda. I enjoyed The Pickwick Papers back in high school. Dickens is excellent. I hope to try a Brandon Sanderson in 2024. I've enjoyed a few of Crispin's Gervase Fen mysteries. He's definitely different. I've not tried the Salterton books but I have enjoyed Davies. Good luck with your challenge.

I just noticed The Shadow of the Wind on this list! It is ssoooo good! I really hope you enjoy it. The pacing is great and the story is excellent.

And The Far Pavilions! I remember reading this. Looking forward to your review. Would love to see if it holds up.
Good luck and happy reading!

Thanks.I'm looking forward to reading these books.

Good for you, knocking out that first book!

This is an entertaining book filled with charismatic characters and much social mischief reminiscent of Anthony Trollope.

I'm looking forward to reading The Woman in White.
I have both on my tbr. The Moonstone sounds perfect for the Halloween season.
Is that more Gothic, suspense or a true ghost story?? Ghost stories never really work for me.

This is a beautiful book about books and a story within a story with interconnecting twists and turns. It is riveting, haunting, melodramatic, mysterious and imaginative.

Happy Reading!

This is a 20th-century novel based on the medieval Plantagent story. It is like a roller coaster ride filled with murder, mayhem and madness. It's a compelling family saga, and the pages seemed to turn by themselves.

This is a wonderful book filled with all sorts of adventures that the Pickwick Club is involved in.

This is an epic, historical saga of an aristocratic Hungarian family during World Wars I and II.

This is an upper middle class family saga of three generations in London from the 1880s to the 1920s. I enjoyed this book very much.
I bought an old copy of this for my sister-in-law many moons ago. I've yet to read, but it does sound interesting.

I'm reading it now.

This is a historical murder mystery taking place in an Italian monastery in 1327. It is an intellectual mystery combining biblical analysis, medieval studies and literary theory.

This is the tenth book in the Discworld series. It's full of humor and adventure. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series.
