I host several yearly reading challenges on my reading community website, Gather Together and Read, and my horror blog, Castle Macabre. I'm going to start listing them here in the group in case anyone would like to participate. I know a few of you already do.

I'm working on getting the 2024 challenges posted. The first one is below. Stay tuned for the rest.

Sarah | 2 comments On reading my shelf, I really am going to try to embrace this challenge this year. Of course, I have both my actual bookshelf in my bedroom and my virtual bookshelf on goodreads. Coincidentally, during the pandemic I did clear my home bookshelf of everything I hadn’t read at that time and also all my husband’s books as well which included stuff by Bill Bryson, Jon Ronson and Stephen Fry. Back to the present, and of course I have built up a new backlog of my own so now I intend to clear it again as the Covid shelf clearing was such a satisfying process 😇. I’m going to start with Tapestries of Life by Anne Sverdrup Thygeson (non fiction) followed by Treasury of Folklore, Woodlands and Forests, Wild Gods, World Trees and Werewolves (yes it is all one title!) by Dee Dee Chainey and Willow Winsham.
