I am planning to continue with the Finish What You Stared (FWYS) on my own again. And I'll also continue the Never Ending Series Challenge and keeping track of my reading Connections.

Elsa and I are excited to do the Pick My Book challenge again for this NINTH year! I will also do the Pick One For Me challenge to help me choose monthly books (choice of 3).

The reading challenge that drove most of my reading in 2023 was ccc Series Finisher Challenge. I am getting lots of series books read but only in a month when I can count them :D. I'm not sure about the Clean Sweep Challenge since I focus on the rolled series books each month.

In 2022 & 2023, I joined more at your own pace challenges and plan to continue these sedate challenges in 2024. I plan to participate in LC Eye of Beholder, TCF Give Me 5, ccc Letter Hunt and ehrtbm Pick It Relay with a new pick as you finish level with no book goals for the year.

I think I've been under-utilizing the challenges on Crazy Challenge Connection, as well as The Lost Challenges, The Challenge Factory

I also started waaaay too many multi-year Reading Challenges in 2021 adding to the too many that I already had active. In 2023, I actually completed and abandoned a few of these long challenges. And at the end of 2023, I actually joined a couple more multi-year challenges, since I made such great progress in 2023. I am still going to try to minimize starting multi year reading challenges (most from FloaB ~ For Love of a Book or ToaP ~ Turn of a Page) so I don't duplicate 2021. Ideally, I'd start less multi-year challenges than I finish, but we'll see if I can resist.

AMMP Game Night Challenge of the Month is not being run in 2024, so I'm going to do the AMMP Game Night 2024 Clean Sweep Challenge. I am going to do the monthly FloaB BOTM Puzzle Challenge again. And I planned on not doing the AMMP Take a Chance on Your TBR and NBRC TBR Tackler, but I caved and joined.

I was much better about returning my library books and only had my library account locked a few times in 2023. I hope to be better about updating my challenges and writing reviews for the books I finish this year. In 2023, I started writing a short review when I finish a book so if I never return to finish a full review, at least a short review is there.

I've discovered something disturbing, I think I can only do one of the following things: read, write reviews or update my challenges. First I read alot, then was behind on my reviews and my library account was locked. Then I caught up on my reviews and returned all my books and could borrow more. I was very late on updating my reviews last year, so I updated my challenges, and had TWO digital books automatically returned before I finished them. Ugh. And then I was behind on my reviews and my work that I brought home. Vicious cycle.
