Your 2023 Series Reading in Review

The best parts: I read 23 books which is great seeing as I am pretty busier but I am trying to make more time to read. I challenge myself to read 20 books in 2023 and I read more than I thought. So Yay me
Series:
I didn't complete any series in 2023 but I did advance and start new series ( oops). I was hoping to read more books from series I like but I am going to try to more series books in 2024.
I did join too many challenges in 2023 so I am going to try and just do challenges that will help with my series reading.
I also find in 2023 by organizing my bookshelf and see what books I have in series helped me plan my list.

I did make a dent in my series books. Unfortunately, I think I started more series than I knocked off in 2023. I'll blame that on the challenges. I said I wasn't going to do as many challenges in 2024, but there are so many interesting challenges posted that I've signed up for more than last year.
I'm a visual person. My list on this group reminds me what series I need to work on. Now I just need to buckle down and read them.

Congratulations on the 23, Viki! I know what an accomplishment that is for you.
Great idea to organize your bookshelf in a way where you can focus on series reading.

That’s a great accomplishment in your series reading, Robin! And, a nice blend of standalones.
I participate in a lot of challenges, too, but rarely make my reading selections based on the challenge…unless I’m down to one book😏 They’re just so much fun to play with.

Let’s do something different this year and take a look back on our series reading in 2023. Rather than have a list of questions to answer, you decide how you want to describe your accomplishments, what worked/didn’t work. Below are some ideas to think about as you consider your summaries.
• What goals did you accomplish?
• Did you complete the series you were hoping to finish in 2023?
• What are you most proud of accomplishing with respect to the series on your lists?
• What did you find most helpful in making a dent in those lists?
