Nora Currie I'm currently reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and it's really good so far in exploring what it was like growing up in the South of the United States and how hard it was.

Gretel Red | 40 comments I immensely enjoy reading these 'Classic' books.

I read Mockingbird a few years ago ... and the sequel Go Set a Watchman. As much as I prefer reading the book to watching the movie, I'll admit I preferred the movie more than I did her writing. Maybe it was just Gregory Peck 🤷‍♀️

I just finished Farenheit 451/Ray Bradbury which is January's pick for my local library book club. I can understand why it was banned in the 60's.

I have a bunch of these classic and banned reads on my shelf.

I've never read this book before and I've never read the sequel either. I can definitely understand how the movie would be more enjoyable with Gregory Peck.

I hope you enjoyed reading Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.

So do I.

I read To Kill a Mockingbird last year for the first time and really enjoyed it, although I can see where its depiction of Black people may cause some objection today. I will probably read this one again.

Don't forget to participate in the Fahrenheit 451 discussion in August! I haven't read this one yet either but really looking forward to it.

Me too, Erica. I want to read it again in the future.
