Alison Fincher | 673 comments An open discussion of that key question: Do the book and the film actually have anything to do with each other at all.

*ALL SPOILERS* Please don't participate if you're worried about having the movie or film spoiled. The entire plot of both are fair game.

Mitzie | 7 comments They feel related to me! But you probably gleaned that from my post on the book!😬Both feel instructional to me - how to live in the face of our most challenging hurdles. How to be a good human being in a constantly changing and challenging world. How to move forward when you are stuck in whatever the present hardship or horror is. How to embrace life and be able to move forward in it. How to stay open to life’s possibilities and to grapple with life’s tragedies while staying open. I didn’t say it too well, but this is where they feel alike to me. Leading with the childhood heart’s open door, through all that is to come. A reminder, …always needed.

Jack (jack_wool) | 760 comments I feel that they are intertwined. The question and challenge put to Mahito Maki is all about How Do You Live. I think the movie expands the question to all of one's incarnations and timelines.
