The goal is to tackle your TBR. You can choose to focus solely on the books you physically own, the books you physically and virtually own (like on a kindle), or books that encompass those you own, and books that are on your Goodreads “To Read” shelf.

Duration: January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024


Rules:
~Books must be read during the selected time period.
~Post the date you finished the book.
~All books read for challenges can be used for more than one challenge.
~Use the add book/author tool to tag your book within your challenge.
~Copy the blank template below and paste into a new comment to start your challenge. Update as necessary.


1. Select a book from your TBR with a mostly green or blue cover
2. Select a book that is part of a series that you started and haven’t finished
3. Select a book that takes place in a country other than the one you live in
4. Select a book with a title that starts with O, Q, U, V, X, Y or Z
5. Select the 17th book on your TBR list
6. Select a book that was published or set between 2000-2010
7. Sort your TBR list alphabetically and choose the 24th book that appears.
8. Sort your TBR list by date added and read the oldest book on that TBR
9. Sort your TBR list by average rating and read a book that falls in the top 10 highest rated books.
10. Choose your favorite number and read the book that corresponds with that number on your list.
11. Sort your TBR list to show all the books that start with the first letter of your middle name and choose one.
12. Sort your TBR list by date added and read a book you added in your birthday month.
13. Sort your TBR list alphabetically and choose the 15th book that appears
14. Select a book that was on last year’s TBR that was never read. - The Wish by Nicholas Sparks
15. Sort your TBR list by average rating and read a book that falls in the top 10 lowest rated books
16. Select a book by an author you’ve never read before. The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
17. Sort your TBR list by date added and read the fourth book you added

19. Select a book that takes place in the country or state that you live in
20. Sort your TBR list by date added and select the last book that you added
21. Modify the settings on your TBR to display ‘Date Published’. Select a book that was published in the same month as your birthday
22. Select a book that was published between 1980-2000
23. Sort your TBR list by author and select a book by an author with the same first name as you or whose name starts with the same letter as your first name.
24. Read a book on your TBR that is the first book in a series. Hooked (Never After, #1) by Emily McIntire
25. Read a book on your TBR that is currently a potential un haul
26. Pick a book with a mostly red or orange cover. A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas
27. Pick a book that takes place in a country or state you would like to visit.
28. Select a book that was published in 2024
29. Judge a book by its cover - select a book where the cover is appealing to you. Icebreaker (UCMH, #1) by Hannah Grace
30. Randomly pick a book from your physical TBR or have someone pick one for you.
31. Sort your TBR by date added (oldest to newest) and pick the 27th book that appears.
32. Select a book where the authors first or last name starts with the letter ‘M’
33. Read a book by your favorite author
34. Read a book that has been on your TBR shelf for over 12 months
35. Read a book that is the 2nd or 4th in a series
36. Pick a book first published in a year with a 5 in it (e.g. 2005, 1995, etc.)
37. Select a book with a mostly purple cover
38. Sort your TBR by highest average rating and read the first book that appears
39. Select a book where the authors first or last name starts with the letter ‘B’
40. Read a book you meant to read in 2023 - Praise (Salacious Players Club, #1) by Sara Cate
41. Read a book with a flower/plant on the cover
42. Read a book published for set between 1960-1979
43. Read a book with two or more people on the cover.
