Alonzo Garron was Sage's source in her exposé of insurance fraud at the hospital. Did that relationship influence your thinking of him as a potential suspect? Were there any early clues put him on your radar?

Quynh (quynh_o) | 134 comments He wasn't on my radar, but his interest in Sage was kind of weird but I didn't know why it felt weird.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments It's been a while since I read the book and I can't remember if there were any early clues. I do remember that there was a point where I figured it out though.

I didn't know what to make of him. He ran hot and cold for me but when he told Sage he thought of her as a daughter, I relaxed. Silly me.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, I remember now how disarming he was. He had me fooled for quite a while.

lorii (Loriidae) No early clues, I just thought he was sleazy, no more than that and yes the daughter comment relaxed me too...

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments My radar was still jumping around with this guy; to want a daughter just like Sage was saying a lot more than his admiration for her as a person. The vibes caught me with older man being attracted to much younger woman for quite some time.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I nailed him from the beginning. When Sage felt not entirely comfortable around him, that cinched it for me. OBGYN infertility doctor, young beautiful girls being drugged, tracking the menstrual cycles it all said egg harvesting to me.

You're good, Anita.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I started with, why them? I thought at first they were being used to actually have the babies, but none of them disappeared. Then one of them had cramps real bad after her "kidnap" and that's when I put it all together.
