Jewish Genre Reading Challenge discussion

This prompt challenges you to read a Jewish book in a format other than prose. Prose is the format that most novels and most nonfiction are written in. Graphic novels, poetry, novels written in verse, plays and screenplays, books of art and photography, and cookbooks would be some examples of books that are not prose. Of course a cookbook may contain some memoir-style chapters in prose, and an art book may be interspersed with essays about the artist, and that is fine for this challenge. The idea is to read something that is not entirely, or primarily, written in prose.

You do not need to read from just the formats listed below, these lists are from the most common non-prose formats. As always, books must have a Jewish main character, or a Jewish author and topic if the book has no characters. The rule of "Jewish main characters" when applied to poetry books means poems with Jewish authors that touch in some part on the Jewish aspects of their lives, or are about other Jewish topics.
