"During the selection meetings, the committee discusses all nominated and suggested books before beginning balloting. Each committee member votes for three books, with four points assigned to first choice, three points to second choice, and two points to third choice."

http://www.ala.org/alsc/aboutalsc/als...

The book with the most points will become our Caldecott award. The second and third place books will become our honor selections.

Please list in order your three choices for the Caldecott award.

Your first pick will be awarded 4 points.
Your second choice will be awarded 3 points.
Your final selection will be awarded 2 points.

Points will not be given to any books mentioned past the third selection and only books from our voting list will be eligible.

The 2024 Mock Caldecott voting list:

Remember by Joy Harjo, illustrated by Michaela Goade

Simon and the Better Bone by Corey R. Tabor

An American Story by Kwame Alexander, illustrated by Dare Coulter

The Tree and the River by Aaron Becker

Laura Harrison | 414 comments Brian Floca is glorious but he didn't contribute his talent to Tomfoolery. Barbara McClintock illustrated this title (Randolph Caldecott's actual drawings are included).
