Sam and Freddie pursue the lead regarding the renter before Clarence Reece who owned those clippings about Skip’s shooting and it leads to a gangbanger called Darius Gardner. When she approaches ADA Faith Miller about why she dropped the slam-dunk rape charge against him, she acknowledges that he threatened to kill her niece. What do you make of all this? Did Faith have alternatives?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Faith's fear is real, but there are plans to deal with these threats. It becomes a complex case with a victim who is also threatened. However, Faith is letting a violent criminal stay on the streets to continue with his crimes, which is unforgivable.

Susan (cruelshoes) | 158 comments there are always alternatives and Faith not following through put a very violent unhinged man back on the streets.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments I agree with Sharon and Susan.
Faith had alternatives. She could have received police protection for her sister and ensured that Darius got what he deserved.
If she would make this kind of decision once, she would make it again and as such, this is not the job for her.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Faith had a knee-jerk reaction to protect her family. If every prosecutor did the same thing, the criminals would rule. I'm sure there are procedures in place for things like this. Faith has no faith in the system she is sworn to uphold. I agree with Lauren, this isn't the job for her.

I got her fear but she had a slew of options. The threat alone would have gotten him jailed. This was really bad.
