I want to try reading a few classics this year!! does anyone have recs?

Are there any specific genres you prefer? Or just anything?

The Strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Robert Louis Stevenson
The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald
Little Women, Louisa May Alcott
Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury
Hamlet, Shakespeare (Macbeth is good too imo)
The Picture of Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde
Flowers for Algernon, Daniel Keyes
Frankenstein, Mary Shelley
War and Peace, Leo Tolstoy

Also my go to author is Agatha Christie, IDK if she counts as classic

I haven’t read it but I’ve heard good things

Personally, I loved it! It is very slow paced though, so if that's not your thing, I'd say skip it.

kinda a classic ig? its not old tho just rlly famous. 13 reasons why. its rlly sad and has suicide (well the plot is abt suicide) so read carefully. i give you a disclaimer now. it will make u sad.
