By getting involved personally in a political campaign at a local level. Asking the person whom I am campaigning for to he/she will address a particular issue I care about and initiating a discussion on what needs to be done or considered. Ask him/her how I can help affect the change I want to see.

Ya i completly agree, being nice to other people goes a long way. Personally when i hear someone bein bithched about i usually stick up for them, which doesnt usually reflect well on me, but i dont care. We all just need to make a conscious effort to understant WHY there is something wrong with someone rather than complaining about it!!! If some one is snobby or quiet around you then its probably, most likely bcoz they are shy!
