Ads on Goodreads!!! When did that happen? I clicked on the link for A Chelsea Concerto and all sorts of random things showed up above the book cover.

I think they have always had ads. I use an ad blocker & Goodreads is one of the very few sites it still works on.

Humph, I deleted various apps on my iPad this afternoon because I got a message warning me that I didn’t have enough memory for a software update. Maybe I did something that let them in? I’ve always seen ads for books, but men’s sweaters and tools were new to me.

so far I am not seeing ads (good!) but I am on a chromebook and things are often different than other devices.

and thank you very much for the info! I plan to read Before Lunch and will looking into finding A Chelsea Concerto.

Cool - we will probably add more later in the year.

It has all 8 Lucia stories in it. Paperback, in very good condition.
