The story begins with what turns out to be the killer’s point of view. We also learn a lot about him, except his real name. What did you find was most informative about his perspective? Why maddog and in lowercase? He never reveals what it was his father was doing behind those closed doors…any ideas?

His preparation and stalking.
He hides in plain sight.
He is a lawyer with access to the information he needs
that murder is a game to him

I think his father was, at a minimum, abusive of women. However, I think he was a serial killer who got away with it.

I found him organized and specific to type and methodology. I concur about him hiding in plain sight. He had me looking over shoulders.

Yeah, Daddy was a serial killer, too.
