Starting! Through Chapter 7--love that the goat is obsessed with Jessica Jones... it also dates this book pretty solidly... that was what? 2010s?

Nice to get some non-binary rep... and I'm very jealous of Magnus's superpower... he just looks at Alex and internally knows...

Through Chapter 37--I loved the Thing! Wish it'd ended differently.

Dom did enjoyed them, but he stuck with House of Hades LOL!

What!! He never made it to the end of the Heroes books? But that's the best one!

I'm through Chapter 46 now--I loved the nod to the tale of Thor and the wedding--that's one Norse story I've actually heard, and the "what was the dress like" bit was funny. I also really like Alex as a character.

He will eventually 😁. He's reading book about planes and space technology from school at the moment.

Ah, well that sounds fun! Nothing wrong with taking one's time, as long as he doesn't give up on it!

Finished the book! The end was a lot of fun--I like how Alex deals with problems. I'm not sure how to feel about Randolph... in the first book I was pretty solidly in the "bad manipulator" camp, but in this book he's coming across a lot more sympathetic.

Started. Going good so far. Alex is interesting character.

I love Alex! Probably my favorite character. Though I also like Jack, and Samira.

Interesting here. Poor team... again Loki make them work for him... eh...

Loki is a fun antagonist though... I like that he's not as... mm... explicitly evil as Chronos or Gaea in the Percy books.

I just finished this one and also enjoyed Alex. I found the giants to be my favorite characters in the story this time around. I look forward to reading the next one to see what happens.

LOL The giants were pretty amusing. I just put the next book on hold! Three weeks wait, hoping it'll be available on time.
