A maddog suspect, Jimmy Smithe is brought in for questioning and his public defender, Del McCarthy, advises him not to talk to the police, including providing alibis for the times of the maddog murders and assault. Was that truly in the best interest of Smithe or was he working a private agenda?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments McCarthy was trying to make a name for himself and using Smithe to do it. Who doesn't give an alibi if they have one. McCarthy is a bad lawyer.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I wasn't even sure whether Smithe had been given the dates of those attacks for which he could have presented alibis. His lawyer seemed very smarmy to me. And, as a consequence, the poor client's reputation would be very damaged.
