Any other topics you’d like to discuss? Your overall opinion of the story?

Overall, I like Rules of Prey. I like getting in the head of the murderer. The author has good insight into the criminal mind. I also like Davenport for some unexplainable reason. He is a flawed character which appeals to me. I have a feeling that this is the baseline, and I want to believe he will change over the series.

I thought it was interesting to read Sanford's bio. He was a reporter before he became a full time writer. The backstabbing and doing anything to get a jump on the story is real.
