Hello… a bookcrosser since 2004, I just noticed on facebook that there‘s a group here as well. I can‘t quite remember when I joined Goodreads - after bookcrossing, but it‘s been a while. So I‘ll say hello here.
I was living in Switzerland when I joined both groups - was there for over 20 years, but am now in central France. When I changed my profile from Switzerland to France, to my chagrin, all the books I‘d registered while living in Switzerland were shifted to having been registered in France. Strange….
One of the things I love most about bookcrossing is the opportunity to discover new books and authors thanks to the rings and rays. Also I‘ve made a few virtual friends thanks to „meeting up“ on the same lists to receive and send them!
