Olivia | 4 comments This trilogy is obviously very popular but if you like political fantasy with a Sid kick of Romance (not so much in the first book), I would recommend the folk of the air trilogy.

If you like “normal” fantasy with a sub plot of Romance I recommend the Caraval series. It’s veryyyyy magical. And it does focus on the magic and the game in general a bit.
After this trilogy you can read the OUABH Series which is obviously amazing. It’s like a spin off. So I would recommend reading Caraval first.

I can also recommend Divine rivals. The books is just like the title says absolutely divine. We have another enemies to lovers and make it fantasy. It’s like a letter romance. It also has some gods in it and with that world building.

Also if you like mystery and fiction the stalking Jack the Ripper series is very good. The first one was extremely good. The second one just gobsmacking, I’ve got to admit it went a bit downhill after that but it was still fun.

If you like historical fiction and romance I can recommend the dangerous damsels series, I’ve heard someone say that it’s like Bridgestone meets Peaky Blinders and I think that bundles it up perfectly.
If you like Historical fiction and fantasy I can recommend babel. At first it’s a lot, but after the first 50 Pages it’s AMAZING.

If you want like Thriller or Mystery I can recommend: We were liars, any poirot book (Agatha Christie in general), perfume, and if you want a lighter book that is not THAT dark I can recommend the aggtm trilogy. I really liked the first book, but after mine opinion the last one is terrible.

I also have some recommendations for Greek mythology. First of all the classic one the song of Achilles I think it deserves the hype. I also enjoyed Ariadne by Jennifer Saint.

I can also recommend an author: Taylor Jenkins Reid I just ADORE her books. So if you can get around to it I would recommend: The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Carrie Soto is back, and daisy jones and the six.

So if you like classics or so called new classics (with that I mean new books that give classic vibes and are set in earlier times) (some with dark academia vibes) I can recommend a handful: The book eaters, Little Women, any Jane Austen, The picture of Dorian gray, Great expectations, Shakespeares sonnets, Shakespeare in general (like much ado nothing, a midsummer nights dream, as you like it…), 1984, the great gatsby, the bell jar, the secret history, mona Lisa’s smile, dead poets society, the stranger, Fahrenheit 451, to kill a mockingbird (it’s also one of Tays fav books), if we were villains, and the book tief.
My personal fav of those are: Little Women, Northanger Abbey, The Picture of Dorian Gray, the great Gatsby, dead poets society, the secret history, mona lisa’s smile, and the bell jar (Some of these books also have great movies).

Lastly because this is a Swiftie club I obviously need to mention a book that is inspired by Taylor. It’s called the break up tour, I’ve got to admit I didn’t get to reading it myself so I can’t promise anything. BUTTT this is what I’ve heard: it’s about a musician, and it’s a love story with her childhood best friend who she didn’t see for years. But because of Ex husband he needs to join her on tour (the break up tour). Also I hears that the book has many T Swift references.

I hope this gives you some new ideas. And lemme know if you read some of these books.
