Ellen | 3515 comments 60-ish Vera Wong is a widow who lives above her rarely visited tea shop. Vera is a wizard with blended teas but patronage is poor even after she named her shop Vera Wang's World Famous Teahouse to try and trade on the famous Vera's name. Nothing could prepare Vera for the morning she came downstairs to find the body of a man in the middle of her shop. Before the police arrived Vera removed a flash drive the man held in his hand and secreted it in her pocket. Vera knew she would be a much better detective than the paid professionals so she determined she would find the killer herself.

Four suspects emerge from her investigation: Oliver, the dead man's twin; Riki, a computer whiz; Sana, a local artist; and Julia, the dead man's wife. Vera knows one of these people must be the guilty party but she did not expect to find burgeoning friendship blossom with each of them. How will she name the killer and not break her own heart when doing so?

There is so much humor in the story which was so well done on audio performed by Eunice Wong. I was fully invested in Vera's investigation and cared very much for the suspects. I sure hope there are more books to come featuring this feisty Vera Wong.
