Play Book Tag discussion

This was my second reading of The Alienist and I loved it as much as I did when I read it the first time, This dark, chilling mystery is set in the Lower East Side in the late 1800s. A serial killer is prowling the streets of the Lower East Side preying upon male child prostitutes. A team of investigators led by the eminent Dr. Kreizler are racing to find him before he strikes again. They ae up against many obstacles resulting from the political climate at this time.
The novel, while grisly and at times hard to read, is wonderfully atmospheric and vividly depicts New York at the time.

I remember reading reading this a decade or two ago, and also just loving it. Isn’t it great when you revisit a read and you get that same feeling!!!
