I took this photo (for Martin's sake: I am the owner of this digital photograph. I created it, cropped it, and uploaded it for the greater benefit of humankind from a book I own with my own camera, using software legally registered to me. Image credit: me. It's mine. It is in accordance with the Goodreads Librarian Manual's policies).

(Are people rude to you here normally or something?! Because no, that really wasn't at all the intention - you don't have to feel that way, and I'm sorry from my end that you did!)

Don't forget - there are cultural nuances at play, probably, even if we both speak English... that wasn't intended as mocking. You don't have to perceive it as such, truly.

I really wasn't poking fun at you, Martin. I put your name there in a friendly way.

Regardless of whether or not you ever want to assist me again, I sincerely hope you read these responses and try to reassess your take on them. I sure didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I am honestly surprised that you would take it this way.
