How it fits: This book is based on the women divers on the island of Jeju part of South Korea. WWII comes to the island with Japanese who commit horrific acts to the islanders. This drives a wedge between the friendship of Mi-ja and Young-sook after they grew up together. When Young-sooks family is slaughtered and Mi-ja (who possibly could have saved them) walks away and let's it happen. Mi-ja then keeps trying to reconnect with her friend and ends up driving a wedge between her and her daughter. Who ends up marrying her son and moving to America! Years later the grandchildren visit from America and that's when Young-sook starts to understand the other side of the story.

2. We will go through a list of 25 video games. I will provide you with three tasks related to that game and you need to read for one of those tasks. For each completed task, you will receive two points. Finally, you will receive ten points for completing the entire challenge.
3. If you feel stuck, you have 2 free skips. Just let me know in the thread that you will use it, and instead, read a book that meets the guidelines. If you need more than 2 skips, you can use 7 points to get a new skip.
