I enjoyed this far more than the first volume. The sparks of revolution and the politicking added to the story in this second book kept me far more interested in this sequel. I find Katniss more tolerable this time around but still far from likable.

This series builds up to the finale in this penultimate volume with the final villain finally revealed as stakes are raised ago. The art in this series has been very crisp, with some great card/monster designs.

I'm really struggling to find much to enjoy with this series but I'm determined to persevere. It's too convoluted and considering this is Yu-Gi-Oh that is saying something.

But with this volume I've reached the summit of Pike's Peak. Onwards and upwards!
