The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet
question
Representation in Sci-Fi

I grew up reading and loving science fiction, but when I was younger virtually all science fiction was penned by sys-gendered white males and featured stories of other sys-gendered white males. One might get the idea that our future only holds more of the same. But today writers such as Becky Chambers appear to challenge this hegemony. As a result the genre is even more rewarding to read and way more relevent. How do we keep up with these newer writers? Any suggestions?
