Hi everyone! The book of the month for the month of love is The Beautiful Pretender by Melanie Dickerson. I love this book and can't wait to reread it with everyone.

Some questions for everyone!
1. Did you race to the end, or was it more of a slow burn?
2. Which scene has stuck with you the most?

My replies:
1. I raced I redefined racing to the end of the book. I loved every second of it and was nervous for Avelina the whole time. But they're a couple that you just can't help rooting for. Even if you dislike the characters, you'd still want them to be happy and together because they fit each other so well.

2. (view spoiler)[ The scene where Avelina was called to stage...I screamed. The scene that stuck out to me the most, though was when she was in the closet with the margrave. I loved that scene so much because they were honest with each other and cared for each in their own ways. The fact that Avelina was seriously injured, but still limped to go help her love even though he was rude to her before (for good reason, but it still hurts) shows her bravery and her character.
