I finally reached the halfway point on Black River Orchard. The multigenerational tale of evil is riveting.

I was interrupted (at the vets with my kitty). Wanted to say have started on The Haar which was supposed to be read first. Will finish it in a couple days to participate.

Good morning!
I started reading this hook yesterday and am currently reading now ! I am on chapter 8 and to say I am grossed out is an understatement. I can now see the slow descent of our main character into madness.

It gets so much worse after Chapter 8. Lol

I just finished this book! I would’ve completed it sooner but being an adult sucks. Patrick!? Sir you did an amazing job work this book! Charles really has a slow descent into losing his mind and hell! This was a sick book some of the scenes were graphic but the book is a great read! I wrote my review about it.

I read the first 33% of your work "Grandpappy". It did not resonate with me from the beginning and I had no sympathy for Charles at the outset. When he put Gunslinger in the TV to play I got some backstory and cut him a little slack. Then I hit the family video with Grandpappy's greatest hits. I got as far as the young dog stealing the hamburger. Thank you for joining the club's Author Invite. Your novel is obviously quite popular so congrats. Just not for me.
