The most shocking endings! Or twist endings! What book endings WOWed you? List the book but please use spoiler tags on the details!

Night Owl Reader (allnightreading) Identical by Ellen Hopkins!

The story is about two twins, Rayanne and Kayleigh, they have their secrets and bad habits.

But there is a mind blowing twist at the end. My jaw dropped the first time coming to the ending, I have since listened to the book in audiobook form a couple of times trying to see if there were any hints I might have missed.

With the help of the other readers, I noticed that the intro itself was a big hint. Not knowing the ending, you'd just think it was an odd start to the book.

I might put in spoilers what that ending is later. I have class soon.

That sounds intriguing! I love twist endings and I love books about twins. Might have to check that one out!

Irena BookDustMagic | 54 comments I was pretty WOWed two days ago when I finished Hidden Huntress (The Malediction Trilogy, #2) by Danielle L. Jensen . I was not as shocked as I was alk with question marks above my head because I have no idea how the story would develop from that book on.

I've heard The Iron Traitor (The Iron Fey Call of the Forgotten, #2) by Julie Kagawa has a very shock value at the end so that's why I'm still avoiding it until the release day of the next book comes closer.

The most memorable end was of Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) by Richelle Mead

Cas ♛ (rowangalathynius) In The Afterlight (The Darkest Minds, #3) by Alexandra Bracken Such a simple ending to the trilogy, so basic yet effective and spoiler free... Can I post it here? I promise it is spoiler free, 100%. But I'll put it in spoilers JIC. (view spoiler) Pretty simple? It is so effective when you've read the last chapter though...

I have read the last two, and they were amazing. I don't recall the endings as being super super stand out though, but I read them a long time ago...

Be careful, the audiobook is abridged. If you want the complete story read the paperback or the kindle version.

Tessa (tessa_ioana) | 30 comments Ender's Game was pretty much the only ending that shocked me. The rest, were either good endings or bad endings, not necessary shocking.

rai ♡ | 1032 comments Enshadowed (Nevermore, #2) by Kelly Creagh Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy, #3) by Richelle Mead Game (Jasper Dent, #2) by Barry Lyga Blood of My Blood (Jasper Dent, #3) by Barry Lyga Nearly Gone (Nearly Gone, #1) by Elle Cosimano The Iron Queen (The Iron Fey, #3) by Julie Kagawa The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden, #2) by Julie Kagawa

The endings to all of these books surprised the hell out of me...

As I read this book it actually kind of bored me a bit. I just wanted to get through with it fast. However, once I reached the plot twist, my mind was blown. I was not expecting it at all, and it was amazing how incredibly taken aback I was by such a change in events. I loved it, it was definitely a redemption to the book.
