Lucas pressures Yellow Hand to share more information about Bluebird and he does. Unfortunately, Shadow Love was with him at the time and later murdered him for doing so. In fact, Lucas’s impression of Shadow Love was favorable because he carried a picture of his mother. What did you make of that scene and its significance? Should Lucas have been more sensitive about Yellow Hand’s vulnerability? Did you think Shadow Love would seek retribution?

Susan (cruelshoes) | 158 comments I think Lucas thinks of Yellow Hand as a disposable person. Lucas only thinks to use him for his own agenda and nothing else. I did not think Shadow Love would seek retribution.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I have a slightly different opinion than Susan. I don't feel Yellow Hand was disposable to Lucas. Lucas should have done his homework. Yellow Hand was an informant in the past, and Lucas knew how to get information from him.

Lucas made the mistake of not meeting Yellow Hand alone. He didn't think Shadow Love was a threat to Yellow Hand or anyone else. I wasn't sure what Shadow Love would do, but I didn't trust him. Many tough, murderous Mafia guys have pictures of their mother, Jesus, etc. That doesn't mean anything, and an experienced detective should know that.
