Thanks, Len! I just spent today occasionally clicking through these at random... filling a void in my life. Gave up browsing the secondhand bookshelves for Lent, and am going through withdrawal! XD

I must have a bit of fluff in my ear. Did I hear you say that you've given up secondhand bookshops for Lent? Is that possible?

I'm amassing a shopping list instead. I hope that isn't cheating.

I'm also maxing out the number of reservation requests I can hold at any given time with the local library system. XD (If they HAVE a book I actually want to read, it's not available locally, and I have to request it from the wider network).

So I'm probably growing increasingly unpopular in the eyes of the local librarians who keep having to set aside books for me. ;)

And I'm pretty sure Oxfam is going to wonder why they've had such a poor quarter.... XD

It's what librarians are there for. And yes, you're cheating. You might not be buying books but you're buying them in your heart. ;)

Sigh. I'd never last 40 days in the wilderness. XD
