Aaron and Sam, the Crows, draw a line at killing one of their own but Shadow Love doesn’t. Given that he was raised by the both of them, why was Shadow Love’s beliefs so different from them? Should they have done more to prevent him from killing Larry Hart?

Good parents sometimes have angry children. There is a lot of anger in Shadow Love. He doesn't differentiate between them and us like his family and fellow Natives. He sees hate and betrayal. I'm not sure they could do more to prevent him from killing anyone. Shadow Love only had revenge on his mind. Get in his way, and Aaron and Sam could end up dead too.
