One Point Tasks

1.1 HAPPY EASTER
After the Easter Egg Hunt, get comfortable and enjoy a good book (your choice).

1.2 MARCH BIRTHDAYS
This month we celebrate, KHALED HOSSEINI (3/4) & ALICE HOFFMAN (3/16)
Read a book whose Author's FIRST name begins with
either K•A•H•L•E•I•C•D and the LAST name begins with either H•O•E•S•F•I•M•N•A

1.3 BUZZWORD
Read a book with a CHARACTER'S NAME in the Title.
e.g. Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice ,
Ellie Haycock Is Totally Normal

1.4 MARIO DAY (3/10)
Maro Brothers Fame
Read a book that it's Title begins with a letter in MARIO or LUIGI (exclude A, An, or The).
BONUS POINT: If your book has an Author whose initials (FIRST & LAST) are in the name PRINCESS PEACH.

1.5 MIDDLE GRADE MARCH
Read a book with the MAIN PAGE GENRE (MPG: MIDDLE GRADE)

1.6 ST PATRICK'S DAY
Read a book that it's cover is GREEN (50%+) show cover or set in Ireland.

1.7 (Amber's Task) LENT
Traditionally Lent runs from Ash Wednesday to the Saturday before Easter. Most people use this as a time to give up something such as Meat, Sugar, etc...
If you are or were going to observe Lent, what is something you would give up during this time of repentance, fasting, and preparation for the coming of Easter.
Read a book with that item on the cover or in the story.

1.8 (Amber's Task) SISTERS
One of my sisters has a birthday this month. She is a few years younger than me and lives across the country. I hate that I never get to see her at her birthday and usually only about once a year.
Read a book with sisters playing a prominent role.

1.9 (Linda C's Task) EASTER EGGS
Read a book with something oval shaped on the cover (show cover)
Bonus if the oval is an Easter Egg

1.10 (Amber's Task) UNIQUE NAMES DAY
March 5th is Unique Names Day.
Read a book where the MC has an unique name. Share the name.

2.2 READ THE ALPHABET
Read 2 Books

1. Read a book that it's TITLE starts with the LETTER C
(exclude A, An, or The).
e.g. A Calamity of Souls, The Cave: A Secret Underground Hospital and One Woman's Story of Survival in Syria
2. Read a Book whose Author's FIRST/ LAST starts with the LETTER C
e.g. Carola Lovering, Steve Cavanagh

2.3 (Mickslibrarian 's Task) PAWS TO READ MONTH

1. Read a book with MPG "DOGS" or a dog on the cover (show cover).

2. Read a book with MPG "CATS" or a cat on the cover (show cover).

2.4 (Mickslibrarian's Task) International Women's Day - 2024 theme is "INSPIRE INCLUSION"

1. INSPIRE - read a book from any inspirational book list you can find - include the name and/or link to the book list with your book

2. INCLUSION - read a book published by an imprint dedicated to inclusive voices in publishing. You can use this link to help you get started, if you like: https://www.ibpa-online.org/page/dei-.... Include the publisher and what they specialize in with your book.

BONUS: If either of the books include MPG "WOMENS" or "FEMINISM" (1 point for each book)

3.1 (Pat's Task) READ ACROSS AMERICA for National Reading Month

Read 3 books. Each of your books must be primarily set in a different geographic region of the United States

3.2 (Pat's Task) READ ACROSS AMERICA A SECOND TIME

Read 3 books. Each of your books must be by an author who was either born or currently lives in a different geographic region of the United States. Use the map in 3.1 for reference.

IF YOUR three authors are all from different states than the book locations in Task 3.1, you may add a bonus point.

Post the Regions and birthplace/residence State of the authors in your completion post
