Mystery Madness discussion

Hi everyone, my local mystery book club is reading Everyone Here is Lying by Shari Lapena very soon, so I thought I would invite you to read it with me for March Mystery Madness. Since I lead our mystery book club, I really appreciate your thoughts and comments because that helps me with discussion points to bring up in my meeting.
Let me know if you would like to read this with me. If you have already read it, then please let me know your thoughts. I will be dividing the book into sections and posting a few discussion threads as we go along.

Ooh I will be picking that book up from the library next week. I'd love to read it along with you, Elizabeth! I did read the first two chapters before, but I'll have to reread it. I should be picking it up on Monday or Wednesday.

I will join in. just reserved this at the library. I will pick it up tomorrow. Let us know if you set a schedule. If not, I will just read it when I get it and chime in at intervals. I also run a book club. We don’t often read mysteries for our book club because we find it difficult to get an interesting discussion going. I would be interested to hear some of your ideas!

Yay! So glad to have all of you! This will be a nice little group and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the book. I've read 7 chapters so far and will start at least one discussion thread today for the first quarter of the book. Sometimes Goodreads won't let you start more than one or two new topics at a time, but I'll get them added eventually.
There is no set time schedule for reading the book. Read at your own pace and take as long as you want. Ultimately I would like to finish by the end of the month, but my reading is very sluggish right now. I've read 7 chapters so far, so I'll need to pick up the pace if I want to meet my goal.
There are 56 chapters so I'll add a discussion threads for 14 chapters at a time. So when you finish chapters 14, 28, 42, and 56 come back here and chat about what you think so far. If your comment is going to have spoilers just say it right up front.
So far in the first 7 chapters I'm just thinking what a mess these people have made of things. I hope they can pull things together.
If you've already read past 14 chapters just leave some comments about those chapters without spoiling anything for future chapters. Happy reading!!
