This seems to be the third book in a series, not sure if they are interconnected or just set in the same world..... any idea? If they are connected feel free to nominate the first one.

I did notice that

I know the Silver Branch is the third published but the first in the storyline. It's a prequel to the others. I admit it's hard to find. I did read the trilogy.
