I just started reading and I'm really liking it so far!

Started this book today and I'm loving it all ready!!

I'm really enjoying the book so far. I wish there was a little more world building and information about the history.

I'm loving it so far and personally I think this whole super power idea is really interesting.

I just finished chapter 8, and it's neat how it worked out that it was the perfect place to stop the first section of reading for discussion! I'm so intrigued by the whole story and I want to learn more about Mare and who she is. I'm also intrigued by the male characters.

I get the feeling that a love triangle is coming, but I can't tell if it is or with who. Definitely Cal, but who else? Kilorn? Or the brother she's now "betrothed" to (is he hold enough)?

And I'm super interested to find out more about her brothers and the rebellion. I'm flying through the chapters for some reason. I'm a really slow reader, but this has been really fast reading for me and I can't wait to see where the story goes!

It's chapter eight and I'm already on the Cal ship. That didn't take long at all. I really can't wait to see where this goes. So far, I think Mare is a good main character though she is pretty down on herself a lot.

This book is really good so far!! Honestly, I had to re-read some parts to understand the characters and setting well enough.

I'm just confused as to how old exactly Maven is supposed to be. Because Cal is about her age right? So is he weirdly younger than her?

I'm not really sure either. It wasn't exactly clear how old he is. Maybe we will find out later?
