The book had so much tension throughout the whole thing, but it was the only thing keeping you on the edge of your seat. You knew all the twists before they were revealed pages in advance. That doesn't make the book any less clever and well thought out.

Eleanor's condition of Prosopagnosia was necessary to the plot of the story based on the way it was told, but I feel like it was another layer to the book that if it was taken out, it would've been just as successful. I feel like at times she was like, "Well duh this person is obviously my grandma with her red nails and very specific glasses," but two pages later will be like, "I had no idea they were the same person! I see now that the picture and the person before me both have a very distinct birthmark on their face, an eyepatch, and I've memorized every wrinkle on their face for the past ten years that I've known them, but this is such a blindside!" It was only hitch when it needed to be in the story.

Otherwise, it was a good book and I liked how it was written. If I came across the author again, I would pick up another book of hers.
